Georgina Estill x Emily Georgina Jones

Printmaker Georgie Estill has teamed up with silversmith Emily Georgina Jones in their latest project that unite hand-crafted processes, sharing their combined minimalist aesthetic and advocation for slow living. Letterpress and silversmithing link together in their new collection of letterpress cards and sterling silver pendant gift sets.
At the foundation, cards are hand-printed by Georgie on her Adana HS2 at her studio in Robin Hood’s Bay — typeset in 18pt Perpetua Bold and pressed onto White Wild 300gsm paper — cut, folded and finished with traditional tools.
In her Whitby studio, Emily completes the pairing with personalised pendants which are struck using steel punches and a hammer. Whilst similarities can be drawn between the metal type used in printing and punching, these cards offer a simple gift idea that cover a range of occasions. Printing and imprinting with paper and metal, this permanent range of elegant offerings is realised as a thoughtful and considered gift.
