Redesigning Romeo & Juliet—using themes from the play/movie adaptation—rebellion and the tragedy of teen suicide. Rebellion was explored through shapes (realised as irregular polygons) to create a visual language aimed at (better than tragedy and romance) getting the conversation started on teenage suicide, along with the giant stigma attached, this horrendous figure is on the rise. The irregular polygons were overlaid to create an abstract movable typeface and logo-form with a fresher output and a contemporary vision, translated into film merchandise (t-shirt, poster, mug & stationary).
